Bridport gig for Fringe duo

TWO of the hottest new acts on the comedy circuit, Matt Rees and Josh Berry, have less than a month to polish their Edinburgh Fringe shows, and they are doing their warm-ups at Bridport Arts Centre on Friday, 12th July, at 8pm.

Josh Berry, with his new show, Who Does He Think He Is? is making waves on the comedy scene with his impressions. He has been on BBC1’s Michael McIntyre’s Big Show and several episodes of Radio 4’s Dead Ringers, and voiced a sketch on Tracey Ullman’s hit BBC1 show Tracey Breaks the News. He has been on BBC Five Live Radio and ESPN television coverage of Wimbledon and has recorded impressions clips with Andy Murray, Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and Nick Kyrgios.

Multi-award-winning Welsh comedian, Matt Rees, has been causing quite a buzz on the circuit over the past few years with his well-crafted gags and acerbic deadpan delivery.

His awards include Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year, Leicester Square Comedian of The Year, Welsh Unsigned Act of The Year and Loaded LAFTAs; he was also nominated for Chortle Best Newcomer.
