DORCHESTER Arts’ annual fund-raising garden party brings one of England’s funniest women, Dillie Keane to the beautiful grounds of Whitcombe Manor, on Sunday 28th July, from noon.
The outrageously funny and talented Dillie, one third of Fascinating Aida and a brilliant singer, comedian and Olivier Award-nominated actress, is making a special trip to Dorset for one afternoon only to play and sing her repertoire of original songs – songs of love and songs of downright filth.
The summer garden party is held at Whitcombe Manor by invitation of the celebrated crime writer Minette Walters and her husband Alec. Minette has this year published The Turn of Midnight, the sequel to her brilliant debut historical novel, The Last Hours, telling the shocking story of the Black Death in Dorset.
There is a complimentary glass of bubbly and delicious canapes before the performance, creating the perfect summer treat. For more information about the garden party, visit www.dorchesterarts.org.uk
