FORGED Line Dance Company brings its new work, Treasure, to Strode Theatre in Street on Friday 10th May atj 7.30.
The young Bath-based company’s second work is a contemporary dance piece which delves deep into the past, exploring our connections with the sea – with the help of five dancers and a thrilling soundtrack. Taking inspiration from marine life, fossils, the tides, marine biology and the modern threats to our oceans, it is a joyful and thought-provoking work that celebrates the beauty and mystery of the seas, at the same time as asking important questions about what we have lost and what is left to lose.
Forged Line was founded in 2016 by artistic director Emily Brown, who trained in both dance and music.
