THE eagerly-awaited André Rieu 2019 Maastricht concert film, entitled Shall We Dance, will be broadcast by satellite at the Regent Centre in Christchurch on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th July.
Rieu’s annual hometown concerts attract fans from all corners of the globe. The medieval town square is transformed into a spectacular backdrop for the performances. This year 11 concerts were given at the beginning of July.
The audience was invited to put on their dancing shoes and waltz the night away. In the film, André Rieu will be joined by his Johann Strauss Orchestra, world class sopranos, The Platin Tenors and special guests.
Audiences at the Regent, which has consistenlty had the most successful screenings of the Maastricht concerts, will be treated to behind the scenes content, an exclusive interview with André and, as always, some delicious surprises.
