COMEDIAN and world traveller Dom Joly is back on home ground, undertaking his first UK since 2011, and coming to the Marine in Lyme Regis on Friday 29th April.
With more than 50 dates across the country, the new show will see Dom talk about his overseas exploits, serial globe-trotting and some of the most dangerous travel spots he’s ever encountered.
He has visited some of the most inaccessible and difficult places on the planet, including North Korea, the Congo, Syria and Chernobyl.
Joly, who went to school with Osama Bin Laden, brings his PowerPoint to the stage, showing his “collection of weird holiday snaps” with a winning combination of danger and wit.
“I know there’s that cliché that ‘nobody wants to see anybody else’s holiday snaps’. Well, my holiday snaps are really good. And I’ve got some really good stories with them.”
The best-selling author will meet fans after the show to sign copies of his latest book, The Hezbollah Hiking Club.
