Ernie starts a new journey

BRISTOL-based Clementines Live Arts are coming to Taunton’s Brewhouse theatre on 20th and 21st April, with a new version of their circus theatre adventure, Ernie’s Journey, with two performances daily at 11.15am and 1pm.

A young boy sets off one day to become a pirate. He will never make it! Or will he? He discovers that being himself and following his own dreams can lead to all kinds of wild adventures, but it is the people we love who make it all worth it.

Originally an outdoor show, Ernie’s Journey is a magical show for family audiences, incorporating story-telling, circus, physical theatre, stage magic, poetry and puppetry.

An original live concert-harp score takes the tale from the dreamy realms of distant shores to raucous sea shanties! This show is particularly enchanting for 4-11 year-olds but the high-skill circus will amaze even the most cynical teenagers!

This show has been designed to connect audiences with the waterways around where they live and how they feed into national and international ocean systems.

Jackie Clementines is a performance artist, workshop facilitator, fire choreographer, youth worker, writer, activist and clown. In his time off he is just a clown!
