Frome writers on show

THIS year’s Frome Festival, from 5th to 14th July, is as always an exciting mix of visiting performers and companies and a celebration of local talent and creativity.

Local dramatists are making their mark with Where The Fault Lies, a quartet of quirky morality plays at The Cornerhouse, Nikki Lloyd’s Turtle Doves at the Town Hall, and Petra Schofield’s students community promenade production, Casting The World, at Frome Library, telling the story Frome’s famous JW Singers foundry.

Where The Fault Lies, on Wednesday 9th July, features Under The Duvet, Your Time Starts Now, and Terry Talk, all by Crysse Morrison, and The Last Supper, by Rosie Finnigan. Crysse and Rosie, who run Frome’s Nevertheless Productions have teamed up with the new young company Frome Actors Network for this production.
