GLAD Rag Productions are bringing their Keep Smiling Through commemorative show for the 75th anniversary of the D-day landings to a close at Christchurch Regent Centre on Saturday 8th June.
Featuring vintage vocal harmony from The Bluestockings trio, the cast transports the audience back to the 1940s, performing wartime favourites such as Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, Underneath the Arches and The Lambeth Walk.
The wartime spectacle has scenes of evacuation, armed forsed and a pub singalong.
The cast includes Bluestockings Kamya Rawstron Brake, Clare Grey and Ellie Simmerling with guest vocalist Andrew James, joining Kristiana Absalom, Charlie Barrington, John Bishop, Samantha Bliss, Josh Carton, Heather Davis, Kim Holder, Sam Hoye, Bella Kane, Bryan Newman, Andrew Rawstron, Carly Simmerling and Finn Wright-Stephens.
The show is choreographed by Carly Simmerling and the musical director is Kamya Rawstron Brake.
