Grumpy, lost canine

SOURPUSS might be a grumpy ginger cat who is fascinated by the garden, but  if he gets shut out he feels lost and confused. Can you help him to find his way home?

He will be at Bath Theatre Royal’s egg theatre on Saturday 16th June, where family audiences are invited to join his journey of discovery and enjoy learning the secrets of the great outdoors.  The loveable Sourpuss meets  buzzing bees, a chirpy robin, stinky rubbish and vibrant flowers. All are brought to life by string and shadow puppets.

Sourpuss is the new solo show from puppeteer Lori Hopkins, who has worked with Little Angel, Polka and Bamboozle. She also works regularly as a puppetry consultant and practitioner at Shakespeare’s Globe, where recent projects have included The Taming of the Shrew.

See Sourpuss in Bath at 11.30am or 3pm. The show is suitaboe for anyone aged three and older. For more details, tele phone 01225 823409 or 448844, or visit the website, www.theatreroyal.org.uk
