GUITARIST Remi Harris is on a UK tour, making several stops in the south and west continuing at Corsham on 24th March. He’s back for two more gigs at the end of May.
Described by Jamie Cullum as an “extraordinary musician”, Remi and his trio return to the circuit for a three-month spring tour of the UK and Ireland.
Musically the show is a reflection of Remi’s artistic influences – with repertoire ranging from Django Reinhardt to Jimi Hendrix and all things in between. He will also be including new compositions from his forthcoming third album.
Concert goers will be treated to a night of virtuoso Gypsy Swing – with influences from jazz, blues, rock‘n’roll, funk and world music.
Recent highlights of Remi’s musical career include playing Montreal Jazz Festival, accompanying Jamie Cullum at the BBC Proms, and being named as one of the acoustic acts of 2017 by Acoustic Guitar Magazine.
See and hear this remarkable young musician and his musical compadres on 25th May, when Remi plays the Spring Arts and Heritage Centre in Havant, and Forest Arts in New Milton on 26th May.
