ONE of Wiltshire’s hidden delights, the idyllic garden of historic Hatch House near Tisbury, the home of Sir Henry and Lady Rumbold, holds its annual open garden on Sunday 2nd June, raising funds for the Salisbury Hospice charity.
It is a popular event for all the family – a chance to see the 17th century walled Dutch garden which has amazing views over the Vale of Wardour, enjoy cream teas and browse a wide variety of stalls.
There are second-hand books, jewellery, bric-a-brac, cakes and Lady Rumbold and Mrs Vernon’s clothes stall, a magnet for bargain hunters.
Over the years this event has raised thousands of pounds to help the hospice charity continue its valuable work. For more information visit www.salisburyhospicecharity.org.uk
