It’s just not croquet!

A DARK comedy which will make its debut at this year’s Edinburgh Festival Fringe has a local preview with Dorchester Arts at the Corn Exchange on 11th July at 8pm.

Mallets, by Rex Fisher, seems to be the quintessential English country house comedy – with sharp teeth!

The action takes place on a perfect croquet lawn in middle England, a tranquil setting for a bloodthirsty grudge match between two rival couples.

It’s a ruthless, marital comedy that is both darkly funny and little bit sad – all washed down with a good glug of Pimm’s. Mallets is directed by Merle Wheldon-Posner and Felix Firth,
