MERE Amateur Dramatic Society is going live again from Thursday 18th to Saturday 20th November, bringing four new short plays to its eager audience.
The plays are dedicated to three MADS who have made their exits during the lockdown months – Peggy Jukes, Melody Parfitt and Bill Pike.
The performances start with Jean McConnell’s Day Trippers, followed by Richard Harris’s Plaster, Mere writer Adrienne Howell’s My Boy Jonah and ending with New Year Resolution by Dorothy Paterson.
The Lecture Hall shows start at 7.30 nightly, with a 2.30 Saturday matinee. Admission is free with a retiring collection.
