THE Devon Guild of Craftsmen has opened its Bovey Tracey galleries and shop, after the latest lockdown, with MAKE 2020, work by 50 makers from across the country, on show and on sale in the Jubilee Gallery until 10th January.
For many of the exhibitors it will be their first time with the Guild so this is a great opportunity for anyone interested in high quality craft work to support the Guild and the makers – and buy some original Christmas presents.
Other exhibitions at the guild are a members showcase, continuing to 31st January, and The Stuff of Nonsense, print-maker Mike Tingle’s celebration of nonsense – with nods to Edward Lear, Lewis Carroll, and the cow, in the Riverside Gallery until 3rd January 2021
The new December opening hours are Tuesday to Sunday 11am to 5pm; if you can’t get to the Bovey Tracey centre, you can still visit the online shop www.crafts.org.uk
