CHOREOGRAPHER Akram Khan brings his second full-length ballet Creature to Bristol Hippodrome from 18th to 21st November, with English National Ballet.
The company is delighted to welcome Akram back for this third collaboration, after the impact of his Dust and Giselle.
Creature is an unearthly tale of exploitation and human frontiers inspired by Georg Büchner’s expressionist classic Woyzeck, with shadows of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein. It draws on themes of abandonment, isolation and the fragility of the mind, focussing on the story of an outsider and the search for belonging.
This co-production between English National Ballet and Opera Ballet Vlaanderen opens in London, and visits Bristol before its opening in Chicago.
Tickets are now available at Bristol.
