O dainty duck, O Dear

DEVERILLS Performing Arts starts its new-style season for 2017 with a visit from Door Ajar Theatre, performing Thisbe at Longbridge Deverill Village Hall on Saturday 25th March at 7.30.

The multi-talented, character-changing, instrument-swapping cast fuses magic, music and levity in this sequel to A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

The lovelorn Thisbe has perished by her own hand at the end of the play performed by the “rude mechanicals” when she discovers her lover Pyramus has killed himself, thinking she’s been killed by a lion … or something like that.

Find out what REALLY happens to the hapless herione in this, the first of five entertainments in the bi-ennial Deverills Festival’s “fallow) year.
