THE guest opener of this year’s Leigh Food Fair and vintage and classic car show, at Leigh village hall on Saturday 20th July, will be Richard Bromell, the director of Charterhouse Auctioneers in Sherborne.
The 14th annual food fair and car show, from 10am to 4pm, features many of the finest food and drink producers from Dorset and the West Country.
They include Adam’s Tasty Chilli Sauces, Bakehouse Café, Choc Ami, Chetnole Honey, Cornish Pasties, Devon Fishcakes, Dorset Blue Viney, Fussels Fine Foods, James’s Cheese, Lavender Blue, Ma Bolton Gluten Free, Meat Free Martha, Oxfords Bakery, Reads Coffee Roasters, Percy’s Bakery, Purbeck Icecream, Simply Sprinkle, Somerset Cider Brandy, Somerset Charcuterie, Sopley Salads, Unusual Pork Pie Co, Wraxall Wines, Wyld Meadow Farm and Yarty Cordials.
There will also be hot food available, including barbecued hamburgers and sausages, plus refreshments, ice cream, beer and cider.
The proceeds of the fair will go to Leigh Village Hall, Hidden Needs Trust, St Andrew’s Church, Leigh and other charities.
