WIMBORNE-based Millstream Theatre and the Museum of East Dorset are putting on a second screening of the new short film,The Woodcutter and the Swan, created on Zoom during 2020, on 25th March 2021 at 7.30pm.
The Woodcutter and the Swan, based on a magical folk tale, was originally a devised theatre piece. Due to Covid-19, Millstream Theatre (with co-directors, Tony Horitz and Tam Gilbert) transformed the production into a screen adaptation, combining drama,
dance, poetry, animated drawing and original music, created and developed via Zoom and mobile phones.
The story reflects the isolation many have experienced this year, ending with a message of hope and friendship.
There will be a post-show Q&A chaired by actor and performance artist, Mat Fraser. To book tickets for the streamed film and post-show Q&A, visit the Museum of East Dorset or call 01202 886116.
