SNADS make a Right Pantomime

STURMINSTER Newton Amateur Dramatic Society has an enviable pantomimic reputation in North Dorset, and this year they are offering a world premiere panto from 14th to 17th February.

A Right Pantomime, it’s called, and it has been written by Jack English and Toby Greenfield especially for SNADS.

You’ll recognise the characters and the story might be a bit familiar, but it’s not as you know it.

With Ian Greig (who else?) as the dame (Widow Twankey), Giles Henschel as the Sherriff of Nottingham, Jess Mash as Jack, of Beanstalk fame, and Anna Neville as Cinderella, you’ll get the idea that this is a melting-pot of a panto, cleverly interweaving various plot lines from the favourite stories … and all in the name of entertainment.

Get ready to hiss, boo, singalong and do all those other barmy things that make children of adults and introduce young audiences to the joys of live theatre.

Performances are nightly at 7.30.with a 2.30 Saturday matinee. For more details, telephone 01258 475137 or visit the website,
