WILTSHIRE photographer Nigel Hudson is using his skill as a professional photographer with more than 40 years experience to support Swindon’s Great Western Hospital charity, Brighter Futures.
Nigel’s personal lockdown photographic project, Splendid Isolation, has developed into a fund-raising project. The collection includes studies of flowers, clouds, and ordinary domestic objects in extraordinary light and shadow.
Nigel has been a professional photographer since 1978 and has now retired. He says: “It has been a fantastic journey and I have learned and enjoyed so much. I have worked with some wonderful clients over the years and I have travelled the world on their behalf – some beautiful places and some not so beautiful places, but never a dull moment.”
Now retired, he is devoting all my time to realising his personal vision of the world, “and after years of supplying film and digital files to clients, I can now concentrate my energy on my first love, which is the printed image.”
In the first week, sales of Splendid Isolation images resulted in £1,000 raised for the hospital charity. Visit his website for more information www.nigelhudson.co.uk
