Ticket holders

THEATRES, arts centres, concert halls and other venues across the country are asking audience members with tickets for events in the coming weeks and months to be patient with refund arrangements – and to consider donating the money they have already spent on tickets to the venues and artists whose livelihoods have been instantly put on hold in the efforts to curb the spread of Coronavirus.

As more and more public events are abandoned and plans for spring and summer performances are cancelled or left hanging in the balance while the anticipated pattern of the virus is debated, we would add our voices to a plea for generosity, or at least patience in these very difficult times.

The live performance scene will be different when we, and the rest of the world, come through these testing times. Let’s look forward to a day when we can all meet in public venues, when international artists can travel freely and we can celebrate our creative arts together again.
