ANTONY Gormley’s new sculpture Doubt has been installed in niche 338 on the west front of Wells Cathedral, bringing a striking nd powerful contemporary work to sit alongside the Gothic religious statuary of the 13th century for which Wells Cathedral is famous..
The sculptor is keen to encourage local community creative and educational projects and has generously donated an original signed lithograph named Manifold, made with Edition Copenhagen, for which there will be a prize draw with entrance tickets priced at £20. Proceeds will fund visits from schools.
This is a wonderful chance to win a work by one of Britain’s most famous artists!
The framed lithograph is on 300 gsm Velin d’Arches paper 100 x 69 cm / 112 x 81 x 4.5cm (Frame dims). It is currently on show at GBS Fine Art, first floor, 13 Sadler Street in Wells.
