Dark humour and suspense at Bath

THE world premiere tour of Single White Female comes to Bath Theatre Royal from 19th to 23rd May, and promises dark humour and suspenseful storytelling as it updates the 1990s story to the age of social media. It is all about ambition, obsession and the desperate need to belong in an increasingly isolated world

Starring actors/presenters Kym Marsh (also a singer) and Lisa Faulkner (also a chef), the tour is produced by the same team that brought you the seemingly endlessly popular The Girl on the Train, and visits 21 venues during its tour.

Allie (Lisa Faulkner) is a recently divorced mum, balancing life as a single parent with the launch of her tech start up. When she decides to advertise for a lodger to help make ends meet, the delightful Hedy (Kym Marsh) offers her a lifeline. But as their lives intertwine, boundaries blur – and a seemingly perfect arrangement begins to unravel.

The cast is completed by Andro, Jonny McGarrity and Amy Snudden. Performances at Bath are nightly at 7.30, with 2.30 matinees on Wednesday and Saturday.
