Eyes Down, described as “a truly immersive comedy-thriller bingo night”, brings Bertie Bingo to a rural venue for an evening of dabbers, Droopy Drawers … and death!
As games are played, houses are called, tension mounts and before long a body is discovered … but whose number is up? How culpable are members of the audience? What really happened to the previous caller? And more importantly, who will win the novelty Toblerone?
Just Some Theatre, who focus on rural touring, have two dates with Artsreach in Dorset, at Stalbridge on Saturday 28th February and Sunday 1st March at Sixpenny Handley. Eyes Down is also being presented by Somerset’s Take Art at Axbridge Town Hall on Thursday 26th February and Devon’s Villages in Action at Brentor village hall on Friday 6th March.
Making for an unusual and entertaining evening, Eyes Down invites the audience to play bingo for real prizes – and anything can happen! Who will emerge as Top Of The Shop and who will end up the victim of The Unlucky For Some Killer? Think Phoenix Nights meets Inside No 9 …
Just Some Theatre was founded in the north west of England in 2012 with the simple aim of producing professional theatre shows to tour the UK. So far they have produced eight UK tours and two off-West-End productions. Since 2020 the company’s focus has been rural touring and developing shows specifically for rural audiences, working with new writers and dedicated theatre performers and creatives.
