THE Olivier Award-nominated, international smash-hit musical The Choir of Man is coming to Bath Theatre Royal from Tuesday 24th to Saturday 28th March, as part of its first UK and Ireland tour. Direct from the West End, the feel-good, foot-stomping show will be visiting more than 35 venues.
Set in on-stage pub The Jungle, a cast of nine (extra)ordinary guys combine beautiful harmonies and foot-stomping singalongs with world-class tap dance and soulful storytelling. The Choir of Man is created by Nic Doodson and Andrew Kay, directed by Nic Doodson and features hits from artists including Queen, Luther Vandross, Sia, Paul Simon, Adele, Guns & Roses, Avicii and Katy Perry.
It is an uplifting celebration of community and friendship. Creator and director Nic Doodson says: “The Choir of Man has always been about individuality, generosity, humour and the joy of making music together, and this company embodies all of that”.
The Choir of Man has previously played three sold-out seasons at the Sydney Opera House and multiple sold-out US and European tours. The show began its West End run at the Arts Theatre in 2021 with more than 1000 performances and an Olivier nomination for Best Entertainment or Comedy Play.
